Congratulations on your engagement!

We welcome your interest in celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Our beautiful Romanesque building offers impressive stained glass windows, lovely woodwork, and an historic Barckhoff pipe organ that fills the church with inspiring sound. 

Our church can accommodate a maximum of 225 guests and a wedding hostess from St. Francis will attend and guide you through your wedding rehearsal and the day of your wedding.

You do not need to be a member of St. Francis to be married at our church.

We can schedule up to 2 weddings on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. with rehearsals at 4:30 or 6:30 p.m. on the Friday immediately preceding. We may be able to accommodate ceremonies on other days, based on staff availability.

Marriage preparations begin once the church fee
of $1,500.00 is received. Please contact our Office Manager and Wedding Coordinator Theresa Holleran at office@sfacolumbus.org or 614-299-5781 a minimum of 6 months prior to your anticipated wedding date to schedule your wedding and begin the preparation process.

If you should cancel your wedding 6 months or less prior to the scheduled date, the $1500.00 fee is not refunded.  If you need to reschedule your wedding date/time, the fee you paid will still apply.

 In addition to the church fee of $1500.00, the stipends/fees listed below apply to all weddings celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi. We can also live stream your wedding for an additional fee of $50.00. Contact the office to arrange for live streaming.

Priest stipend:  $300.00
Organist fee:  $250.00
Cantor fee:  $150.00
