PASTORAL COUNCIL

MISSION
The role of the Pastoral Council is to focus on the spiritual needs
of the parish, including Religious Education and Adult Faith Formation, as well as to be a liaison with the following ministries:
-Sick, Homebound & Bereavement
-Social Justice
The Pastoral Council offers consultation to the pastor regarding pastoral matters and acts as a voice for the parishioners
regarding the life of the parish. This goal is fulfilled through:
~discerning and articulating the parish mission statement
~studying and discussing concerns of the parish
in light of its mission
~participating in the pastoral planning of the parish
~communicating to the entire parish the work of the council
~promoting collaboration, cooperation, and understanding
among all groups in the parish
Pastoral Council meets on the 1st Tuesday every other month.

MEMBERS
Members serve a 3 year term by election and/or appointment by Pastor. The Chairperson(s) of the Pastoral Council are also members of the Parish Leadership Team.
